What is the purpose of this program?
Catholic Community Connection (CCC) 2018 Summer Fellows program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for sophomores, juniors, and seniors (graduate students will be considered for Non-Profit Management Fellow)  of John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, Ursuline College and Borromeo Seminary.  Students will gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. The program will also encourage student awareness of the depth and breadth of Catholic ministries in Northeast Ohio. In addition, this hands-on program will be designed to mentor and cultivate emerging young leaders, strengthen their understanding of the services provided by the partner organizations and prepare them for future opportunities with Catholic organizations in Cleveland.

Where are the internships located?
These internships are available at CCC partner service organizations

Is this a paid internship?
Yes, students will be compensated at $10.00 per hour for their 32-hour work week.

What are the start and end dates for the program?
This 10-week summer program begins with orientation on June 1 and ends on August 10.

Is summer housing provided by CCC?
CCC is unable to provide housing for Summer Fellows.

Are there any eligibility criteria?
Yes, this program is limited to currently enrolled sophomores, juniors, and seniors (graduate students will be considered for Non-Profit Management Fellow) at John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, Ursuline College and Borromeo Seminary.

Is the summer program limited to specific majors?
No.

Is there a minimum GPA to participate in this program?
No. However, CCC clearly wants to select applicants who appear likely to make the greatest contributions in their respective fields.

How should I respond to the essay questions?
Each of the essay questions should be answered separately. Each response should not exceed the designated word limit.

How long should my resume be and what should it include?
Your resume should include at least your education, work experience, extracurricular activities, and service experiences.

Will I be penalized if my application is sent in late?
Yes. All application materials must be submitted on or before the corresponding application deadline to be considered for an interview. *

How will I know if my application has been successfully received?
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.

How will I be notified if I am selected?
Notifications for both an interview and final selection will occur by phone and e-mail.

How soon can I expect to hear that I am selected?
Selection, placement and notification will be made on March 30, 2018.*
