The Intergenerational Opportunities theme arose out of Catholic Community Connection’s 2013 strategic plan. It was initially aimed at increasing collaboration between the Catholic colleges and university in Cleveland and the Catholic service providers in the Diocese of Cleveland.

As the initiative gathered momentum two overarching goals emerged:

(1) Creating a pipeline of young adults interested in serving in Catholic ministries.

(2) Developing the next generation of leaders for Catholic ministries in northeast Ohio.

The Intergenerational Opportunities project builds on more than a century’s tradition of Catholic ministry in the Diocese of Cleveland. CCC facilitates initiatives aimed at capturing the energy of undergraduates and young adults between the ages of 20-35 for service in the Church and to the world.
