Catholic Community Connection is proud to welcome Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union as a partner organization specializing in financial services for members of the Catholic community.

Founded in 1954, Ohio Catholic FCU is the largest Catholic credit union in the State of Ohio and the fourth largest in the nation. The credit union serves individual members of the Catholic community, as well as Catholic parishes, schools, organizations, and non-profits. Individuals can qualify for membership with Ohio Catholic FCU in one of three ways: 1) Being Catholic; 2) Working for a Catholic organization; 3) Attending or having children attend a Catholic school.

Ohio Catholic FCU prides itself on providing a full-range of personal financial products including checking & savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), IRAs, low-rate credit cards, mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, car loans, tuition loans, wedding loans, and personal loans. In addition to branches in Garfield Heights, Akron, Macedonia, and North Royalton, Ohio Catholic FCU also offers online banking via its e-branch as well as remote deposit capture through the OCFCU mobile app.

Ohio Catholic FCU specializes in deposit products, loans, and lines of credit for Catholic parishes, schools, organizations, and non-profits. When Catholic organizations place their deposits with Ohio Catholic FCU, it allows the credit union to lend to other Catholic organizations in need throughout the State of Ohio. Ohio Catholic FCU offers outstanding interest rates on loans to Catholic organizations to help them expand, maintain and improve their facilities, or meet unexpected expenses.

As a non-profit Catholic credit union, Ohio Catholic FCU tithes 10% of its net income and contributes it back to the Catholic community in the form of Catholic school scholarships, grants, and donations to Catholic non-profit organizations. In 2016, Ohio Catholic FCU donated over $100,000 directly back to the Catholic communities where members live, work, and pray.
